FlatOut is an independent, unofficial Formula 1 companion app published by Neo Media Productions Inc. (“we,” “us”). We collect the minimum needed to run your account and the features you choose to use. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and why.
We use Supabase (a hosted database, authentication, file storage, and serverless-function platform) as our backend. Your account, profile, ratings, and any profile photo are stored there on our behalf; Supabase acts as our data processor. See Supabase’s privacy policy.
To show live timing, results, standings, schedules, weather, and news, the app relies on third-party data providers. Most of this information is requested through our own backend rather than from your device; some feeds (such as weather and news headlines) are requested by the app directly, and tapping a news headline opens the article on the publisher’s own website. We do not send your personal information to any of these providers. As with any internet request, a provider whose feed the app requests directly may log technical information such as an IP address in its own server logs, which we do not control.
FlatOut Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Payments are handled entirely by Apple; we never see or store your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status — it receives an app-generated identifier and your subscription state so the app can unlock Pro features and restore purchases, and does not receive your payment information. We use your data only to provide the app: to sign you in, sync your settings and favorites, store and display your ratings and reviews, and unlock Pro features. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
FlatOut uses no third-party analytics SDKs, contains no advertising, and performs no ad tracking. If a future version introduces any of these, we will update this policy first and, where required, request your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking occurs.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). This permanently removes your account, profile, favorites, and ratings from our backend. We keep your data only while your account exists (subscription records required for Apple/tax purposes may persist as required by law). Deleting the app removes locally cached preferences, and you can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your Apple ID / App Store settings.
FlatOut is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
